Sin City Seminar Reflection
I thought that the seminar our group did on Sin City was very good. I think that we reached the expectations for the different parts of the assignment. One thing that we needed to work on was getting all the information necessary because we forgot to make a slide and talk about the Elements of style. I think that we needed to have more information on the book and not so much about the author and movie. Most of our group did not seem excited by the topic when they were talking, we all sounded uninterested. I think that I did well on the presentation when it came to knowing my information and researching the topic and finding relevant things to talk about. I think that one of the things I did wrong during my part of the presentation was that I did not talk long enough compared to the other people in my group. When I was presenting I thought that the class seemed uninterested by what I was saying, which is something that I should work on for future presentations because it is important to make seminars interesting so that the class learns about your topic. For future presentations I need to work on getting the class interested and getting more information to talk about.

Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets - Comparison to Sin City
The graphic novel Sin City: Booze Broads and Bullets was one of the novels used to write the movie Sin City. Booze, Broads and Bullets only has one story of the eleven that was put into the movie, "The Customer is Always Right." Some of the stories that are represented in the movie are not exactly the same as the one in the books. Some of them are not the same because they did not relate well to the other stories, content or there too many of the main characters are in the story.
The colour style in the movie was the same style as in the novel. The majority of the movie and the majority of the book are in black and white, but there are some colours on a few of the characters. In the movie there were more colours than in our graphic novel. More of the blood in the movie was red than in the books. The stories that were in the movie were very similar to the ones that were in the novels. Some of the people who have reviewed the movie say that some of the scenes were too similar to the novels. Some of the scenes in the book had voice over to tell the readers what the characters were thinking without the characters actually talking. Those scenes in the movie did not transfer to the movie very well because some think that there were too many voice overs in the movie.
The stories are meant to be happening around the same time, but some of the characters were not in the scenes that they were in the books because they were somewhere else for the movie. Some of the scenes were altered for the movie because they were not important to the stories represented in the movie. Since only some of the stories were shown in the movie, those stories are meant to be the beginning of the story not the beginnings from the books. There were scenes that were added to the movie that were not in the books. The ending of the extended cut where Becky gets into the elevator at the hospital and the man from the first scene is in there with her. Another scene that was altered was the gunfight in the alley, in the book Becky was killed in the ally and did not make it to the hospital. There were five scenes that were in the novels that were not transferred to the movie.

Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets - Characters
There were not many characters in the geaphic novel Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets did not have many characters. The main characters in the books were Marv, Blue eyes, the man, the customer, Douglas Klump, Burt Shlumbb Dwight and the women with the red dress. Some of the characters where not in the book as much as others. The characters were not really develop at all in the book because they were only in it for a short time. Most of the other characters were introduced in other books, so they were not introduced properly in the novel. The characters that were in the movie that were from our book were Marv, the man, the customer and Dwight. The most prominent character in the book was Marv. The characters that were in all of the books and in all the movies were Nancy, Hartigan, Marv, The Man, The Customer, Shellie, Dwight and Gail.

Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets - Writing Style
The writing style of the graphic novel Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets is not very good. This book is very picture based and there are not a lot of words. There was a chapter in the book, Silent Night, that was all pictures and there was no words at all in this chapter. The actual text in the book would take up about 17-20 pages if it was all on consecutive pages. The text in this book does not tell the story in the different chapters. The story is told through the pictures and the text is used to tell the audience what the characters are thinking. There is barely any dialogue and there is no narration.
I think that the writing style of this book would have been better if there was more dialogue. The stories would have been easier to understand and follow with the other books if there was more dialogue to tell the reader what happened before, or in the other books. The pictures in this book are very detailed and graphic so that they fill the need for words. i think that the book would have been better if there was more text and less picture based story-telling. Overall I think that the writing style in the graphic novel Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets was not very creative.

Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets - Visual Style
The graphic novel Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets, like other graphic novels is very image based. The stories in the novel would not have the same effect without the pictures. The pictures are the main focus in the book. The pictures in this graphic novel are very “graphic”, they are full of death, blood, and sex. By the end of the story most of the characters die, in every chapter at least one character dies or is murdered.
The pictures in this graphic novel are different than other novels because they are more based around little colour and shadows. The pictures are mainly black and white, except for the few characters or materials that are in colour to make it stand out. There is one character that has blue eyes, so in every panel that she is in everything is black or white except for her bright blue eyes because it makes them stand out. Most of the time throughout the book the blood is white because there is so much of it in the books so it would make the book very red. There are not many colours used in the book, the only colours used are blue, red, pink and a little bit of yellow.
The main characters in the novel are all very different looking, some are big some are small, fat or skinny, strong or weak. The women in the book stand out from the men because most of the women in the novel are in colour or have a lot of colour on them. The pictures of the characters really let the reader figure out what the character is like because the men in the novel look like their personality. The women on the other hand look harmless at the beginning, they look fragile or distressed, but then they turn out to be worse then the men. The women are killing machines in this novel, one of them is an assassin and another one lures men to her parents’ house so that her father can kill them. The visual style of Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets is very good and goes very well with the stories and the text.

Sin City: Booze Broads and Bullets - Plot
The graphic novel Sin City: Booze, Broads and Bullets does not have the traditional plot structure as other books or other graphic novels. There are many different plots to follow in this graphic novel. Some of the characters are in more than one part of the book but for the most part most characters have their own part of the book. It seemed that the novel had so many different stories going on at once because they were all to be happening at the same time. Some of the stories do not follow this rule because some of the stories start in one chapter and finish in another chapter. There are eleven chapters in this book and they are mostly all different stories with different characters.
The plot is untradtional in this graphic novel compared to others. Most graphic novel and test novels are mainly focussed on one central plot and may have side plots that involved other characters. The plot that has the largest section of the book is the story where one of the characters is trying to figure out why he has lost parts of his memory and cannot remember what happened that night. Many of the stories in this graphic novel are taken to the movie Sin City. I think that the style of having different plots in the same novel that are not related is not an effective method.
I think that every novel should have one prominent story line and then side stories that are happening to different characters instead of staring different stories and not finishing them or finishing stories that where not started in the novel. Since Booze, Broads and Bullets is the sixth book in the Sin City series some stories that started in previous novels so you did not know the back-story to it, or stories started in this book and would finish in the next one. Overall I think that the plot of this book was not traditional and that it would have been better if it only had one main storyline.

House Back on Top
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisUrfMrRQYAGc-NRsyaBaTNPm11_UwxnBENZkQyUOJgaqWhPRPmg3Jh2TD_Kdjzdv6UV6C30UuAdANgIQXk8nnILFv8JOqzV7r1XAu1s6casY5kC8ZR_dK4cTypzQnv4f2FATmGVcb6CU/s400/1302093.jpg)
House decides that he needs some change as too. He calls/faxes Taub and Thirteen many times and every time they ignore him. He also tried to convince Chase and Cameron to stay and not quit the team because he wanted to choose from the best who should stay on the team. He knew that there were four spots on his team and he wanted to be able to choose from five doctors so that he felt in control of the situation. After enough pestering Taub and Thirteen realized that where their lives were are not as good as when they were working for House. They both went in to tell House that they will work for him again and that they will rejoin the team. Chase also told House that he is going to stay on the team because he thinks that he can do the most good and get redemption if he stays at the hospital. Cameron came into House's office shortly after Thirteen to tell him that even though Chase is not, she is still quiting. Cameron decided that she was going to quit because she did not want to be corrupted like Chase, she thought that Chase had spent to much time with House and now he has turned into him. She told House that Chase has become the type of person who will do whatever they think is right even if they know it is the wrong thing to do, just like House. House did not get the chance to pick members of his team because Cameron decided to quit, so not his team is Chase, Foreman, Taub, and Thirteen.
I thought that this episode was good because House was finally back in charge. When Foreman was running the department House was still telling him what to do. I thought that it was good that Chase finally had to suffer consequences for killing President Dibala. It was good that Taub and Thirteen returned to the hospital because they were doctors who still knew right from wrong because House has not corrupted them yet. I think that nearend Cameron was right when she said the House was going to corrupt Thirteen and Taub just like he did to Foreman and Chase. I though that this episode of House would get a rating of 3 out of 5.

Graphic Novel Gallery Walk
Astro Boy
- The graphic novel is about a man using all of the technology at his disposal to build a robot that will be the most advanced piece of robotics to re-create a child with a immortal body.
- The characters that are visible on this page are Astro Boy, the robots creator, and the team of scientist that were related.
- The language on the page is more formal than other graphic novels.
- The page has five boxes, but they are not the shape shape
- The page reads from the top left to the bottom right
- The page is not that appealing to the eye because it is black and white. It is easy to follow and it is not offensive at all.
- The words on the page add to the visual impact of the of the page because it allows the reader to flow the story easier because he is explaining what he is going to do and why he wants to do it.
- I would not be interested in reading this book because the it does not seem like the story will be very in depth or that it will go much further than where it is on this page
The Watchmen
- This graphic novel seems to be about a man who is fed up with his city and will refuse to save it.
- There are only three characters visible on this page. They are a store owner hosing down the street, a man walking through the blood on the street and a man looking to jump off of a building.
- The text used on the page seems informal because the person is not talking to anyone and it seems darker than other novels because the person said that he would not help his city when the day came when they learned the errors of their ways.
- The page has 7 boxes and except for the last box, which takes up three spots, all the boxes are the same size. There are two rows of three boxes and one box on the bottom.
- The page reads like most books from North America. It reads from the top left to the bottom right.
- The pictures on the page are not visually appealing. The pictures on the page is not difficult to follow, but some might say that it is offensive because it starts with blood running down the street and ends with a man preparing to jump off of a building.
- The words on the page add to the effectiveness of the story because the pictures seem to be depressing and the text adds to that felling of sadness, anger and death.
- The graphic novel looks like on that I would be interested in reading because it looks like the story will be interesting and it looks like a book that is for older teens than for children, unlike Astro Boy.

Wonder Twin Powers, Activate!
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3U0TheUTP9_E83LgznQ1et85ggcnsbfey1chYSWen5dSK207TJyQMujBPp-izu1h6tPEawxzjbN-LoL-5N8li4TqdALFcyRWnjqH9kPOee1DBfpxn10HaGVqmnmyrjweGvvwQYec6t0o/s400/wondertwinsross.jpg)
The Wonder Twins, Zan and Janya, decided that they were going to use their powers to help their idol, the Red-Blue Blur. At the beginning of the episode a crate with 5 undercover police and bags of drugs is delivered to the Daily Planet with the symbol of the Blur on top. After that there starts to be a series of accidents around Metropolis that are all credited to the Blur, but the one making the mistakes are Zan and Janya. At one of their saves Janya dropped her cell phone and when Clark found it he called her house and used his super hearing to listen for the ringing once he heard it he superspeeded to their house and brought them back to watch tower to talk to Chloe about being a superhero. After Clark decided that he should call Lois, as the Blur, and tell her that he was not responsible for the mistakes that his fans made. When Clark calls Lois as the Blur he uses a voice changer so that she does not realize that it is Clark that she is talking to. When he calls her this time is voice changer stops working and she recognizes his voice and she starts to think that Clark is the Blur. When she confronts him about it he denies that he is the Blur. A leader of the city decided that Lois is too much into his business to have her around and he decides to kill her by throwing her off of the roof of the Daily Planet and when he does Clark tries to save her without using his powers to show her that he is not the Blur. He can not save her the normal way and she fell and the Wonder Twins came to save her. After she was saved she got a phone call from the Blur while Clark was standing in front of her and Clark later found out that it was Chloe who called Lois.
I thought that this episode was good because it introduced two new heroes for Metropolis. The two new heroes had to learn that they had to find their own way of doing things instead of following others. When Chloe called Lois, Chloe was listening to all of the cell phone calls in Metropolis and watching all of the security cameras, this is the wrong thing to do because it is a total invasion of people privacy and Chloe was overstepping her place. I think that it is ridiculous that Lois Lane has been in the show for almost six years and she has not yet realized that Clark has all of these superpowers, they lived together for two years and she still doesn't know. The ending of this episode was not very good because it ended with Lois having memories from the three weeks that she was in the future and than she started shaking and she passed out and it was over as soon as she fell. I think that this episode was very good because of the lesson that the twins had to learn. I would give this episode of Smallville a 4 out of 5.
School Ties
The film "School Ties" is an effective education tool. It can be used to teach students about many different social issues such as bullying or racism. This film could be used to teach students about racism because of the feelings and comments about the Jewish. The main character, David Greene, is a Jewish boy who starts to attend a school made of mostly christian students and staff. On his first day the football coach told Greene not to advertise that he is Jewish at the school. Throughout the entire movie David feels he has to hide his religion from all of his friends because they hate the Jewish. All of his friends throughout the entire movie made jokes abouts the Jewish or racist comments because that was how they were taught by their parents to treat them. The racism in this movie can be used to show students now how people were treated a few years ago and how it hurts that person because once it came out that David was Jewish everyone started to treat him differently and nobody wanted to be around him. The only limitation that showing this movie presents is that even though David is not expelled for cheating everyone still hates him and the movie does not show a large group of people start to learn how to respect others. It is important to teach students about respect to people of other religions so that this kind of racism eventually disappears.
Almost everything that is shown in school has some complaint afterwards. If I was a teacher showing this movie to my class and a parent complained I would probably still show the movie. If a parent complained I would explain to them why I am showing the class this movie and what educational value the movie has. I would tell this parent that the movie "School Ties" teaches students about racism. bullying and respect. I think that after a parent learned why the movie was being shown than they might not have the same complaint.
I think that using a movie to get the messages in this movie has some limitations. Using a movie to portrays serious message sometimes does not work because not everyone will listen to the movie if it all about a serious topic. Another problem with using a movie is that some people might not pick up on the messages in the story. There are also some benefits to using a movie. One of the benefits to using a movie is that most people would prefer to watch a movie than watch a commercial or listen to the radio. I think that a media form that would be better suited for this kind of message would be a newspaper article because it allows the reader to get first hand accounts from people who have had problems with racism or bullying. Another media form that would be better than a movie is a public service announcement because sometimes movies are too long and the message gets lost because some people do not have long attention spans and PSA's are short and usually easy to understand.

The Second Battle of Geonosis
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg03yFmkjskocO7tbXcOcVVvcA5gN54hCYP3Ag0TiGwIzUDMkb0omqaBSrUcQsHww5xWs_tzBy3W7KWR9ci7m_I2KEazZA9cIQ0Jl3H7Nb9pV2LjzGRuVH8lcmaXJ53oAc-KpSn8DwLjB0/s400/clone+wars+poster+3.jpg)
"Believe in yourself or no one else will."
In last weeks episode,Landing at Point Rain, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ki-Adi-Mundi were responsible for leading an assault on Geonosis to reach the valley in front of a battle droid factory. They were given a small amount of ships and most of the clones did not make it to the landing point. This episode was about believing in yourself because all of the Jedi were in trouble but kept on going and fighting because there were people depending on them and they had to keep believing in themselves. I liked this episode because it showed how persevering and believing in yourself can really help you.
When the three groups were flying to the landing area Anakin's fleet and Ki-
Adi-Mundi's fleet were shot down. The only group that made it to the landing area was Obi-Wans's fleet, but they only half their ships land. Each fleet was about six ships, one Jedi and 50 clones. When Anakin and Ahsoka tried to walk to the landing area they accidentally ended up at a Geonosian fortress where the lost even more clones. By the end of the episode Anakin Ahsoka, Rex, and seven clones made it it the landing area. When Ki-Adi-Mundi was shot down he also tried to walk to the landing area and he was injured. They started walk and unfortunately the fastest way was to go through a cave that was full of Geonosian warriors. In the cave most of the clones where killed and after Ki-Adi-Mundi escaped with his men there was only 13 of them left. This episode was the first part of a siege on Geonosis and the Geonosians proved to be a formidable foe to the Jedi. With most of the clones killed the three Jedi had to believe in themselves to make sure that they got through with as many clones as the could. I though that this episode was very good and showed that in a tough spot believing in yourself can be very valuable. I think that this episode would get a 3.5 out of 5.

"No gift is more precious than trust"
The second episode, Weapons Factory, was about the actual battle to destroy the factory. Master General Luminara Unduli and her padawan Barriss Offee came to aid Anakin and Ahsoka in the battle and they brought new clones as reinforcements. In this episode it showed that Anakin did not really trust Ahsoka to get the job done without his guidance or assistance. I thought that this episode was good because it showed that it is important to give your trust to others so that they are able to do things without you.

Who is a Visitor?
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP_QmSiMENxplNMW-R1AdPxbFsY4tKd5kD1wAGbPfAa0KqOivuKBGHyUCldzRbOtqUSukJk-19PCA8csZGXyLoi3Bw7Wt048We2fikHK21bjPtpHyBsAONYbl8zvZJeZGzTomBXxJjFac/s400/normal_season1-29.jpg)
This episode mainly focused around the aftermath of the resistance meeting for Erica Evans. Since her partner turned out to be one of the Visitors she did not know how to react when he attacked her at the resistance meeting. She ended up killing him at the end of the first episode and was called by her boos at the FBI and he told her that her partner was missing. Throughout the entire episode she stuck to her story that he was a rouge agent who started to fight for the terrorists and that she had figured it out and that is why he has disappeared. She convinced her boss that they will never see him again. She has joined forces with Father Jack to form a new resistance to take down the V's. Her son Tyler at the end of the first episode join the Visitor Peace Ambassador program against his mothers wishes. He was cut off from the Visitors during his time with the peace ambassadors. The Visitor who watched over him and helped him with becoming a peace ambassador was Lisa. Lisa was trying to get Tyler to act more like a Visitor and the entire time Tyler was trying to get Lisa to go out on a date with him when the V's where allowed into the public. When Tyler hit one of the protesters Lisa was very disappointed and now both of them are in trouble and he will most likely be kicked out of the program. Anna finally convinced the American government to allow Visitors to obtain visas to allow them to enter the genera population to see human culture up close. This is what cause Father Jack to agree to build a resistance with Erica. The was not much that happened with the other characters on the show during this episode because it was mainly focused around Erica trying to not be arrested for her partners murder.
I liked this episode and I will watch the rest of the season. I think that this show is good because it is not like anything else that is o television right now. I think that it is good that the characters are not all in a little group and are always interacting with each other because too many shows do that and it is not longer entertaining for most people. I think that this was a great episode and think that it will be interesting to see how the people in the show react to the Visitors being allowed to ;eave their ships and embassies and go not the regular population. I think that the only problem with this will be that once they enter the regular population how will people be able to tell the difference between humans and Visitors. i think that what Erica told Father jack was correct, that "anyone could be a visitor" because they look the same and can obviously assimilate into regular society quickly and discreetly like the Visitors that have built lives and have been on Earth for much longer than people realized. I think that this episode of V would be a 3 out of 5.

Buying Test Scores
It should be taught to all people that receive a education degree that it is wrong to sell goods grades. It takes away from all of the students who work hard for their grades if other students who just slack off all year tun around and buy their grades. Any teacher who gives their students the chance to improve their mark with their parents money. it is unethical for teachers to allow bad students to do better buy selling them test scores. I think that the school should receive a new administration because they think that it is a good idea to give students with bad grades a chance to buy better ones because they had a bad bake sale. Students who receive increased test scores should not be allowed to apply to post-secondary education because they did not earn their marks and will not do well at another school.

Who Said TV Could Never Hurt You?
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMCbnhkzINV3wDuVoYJ-5rh5mG-d2WdipIIPtdTvbRM1rHV-b77gBM0HzJUZ6UcR9Sx_YEMPta_MihXq_2Cq9fkGkVlgobkl3F9GrUpkyg-UqwtYZr9v1PlBK_SAYVvr9qYEqonRY31aM/s400/normal_cc2.jpg)
This time the Trickster tried to mess with Sam and Dean by putting them in television world. They were put into many different shows because it was all a game to the Trickster. When Sam and Dean first got the town where the Trickster was and investigated the murder the police thought that the murder was done by a bear, but Sam and Dean where more interested in the wife`s story because she thought that her husband was killed by the Incredible Hulk. They now realized that the Trickster was behind the murders. The Trickster lured them to a warehouse where they ended up in a hospital drama called Dr. Sexy, MD. This show was based on the show Grey`s Anatomy. The Trickster confronted Sam and Dean and told them that they had to play along with his game or they will die. Dean was shot shortly after that and Sam had to play his role in the show as a doctor to save Dean`s life. As soon as surgery was done Sam and Dean were transported to a Japanese game show called Nutcracker. All of the questions where asked in Japanese and if they got the question wrong or did not answer that a huge metal pole would hit them in the balls. Sam was the only one that was hit and Dean tried to answer and he spoke in Japanese. Eventually they went through many other television shows, some based on real shows and others where totally made up.
Some of the funniest shows they went to was CSI: Miami where Sam was Horatio Caine and Dean was another CSI tech. They both played the parts and made fun of the body movements of the characters. Another good clip they went to was a commercial for Genital Herpes medication where Sam had to be one of the people who endorsed the product and had to keep saying that he had genital herpes. After they where in CSI: Miami they thought that they had killed the Trickster and they went back to their motel and then Dean realized that he could not find Sam when they were back at the motel. Dean went out to their car and could hear Sam talking, but could not see him. They realized that the Trickster had turned Sam in KITT as they were driving back to the warehouse to fight the Trickster the Knight Rider music was playing the whole time. Once they found the Trickster they trapped him a ring of Holy Fire because they figured that he was and angel. It turned out that the Trickster was actually the archangel Gabriel.
I thought that this episode was the best in this season. I thought that it was good because it was really funny and got away from the serious nature and the darkness of the rest of the episodes. I was surprised when the Trickster turned out to be an archangel because he was in other episodes and was just a normal monster. It made sense that he was an archangel because in the other two episodes Sam and Dean killed him and he kept coming back.Of course there had to be an element of danger in the episode and it was represented by Sam and Dean getting hurt and almost dying because of television shows. I thought that this was the best episode of the season and by far the funniest part was the herpes commercial because Dean was in the background the entire time laughing at Sam because he had to keep saying he had genital herpes. I thought that this episode would deserve a 4.5 out of 5.

The Arrival

The show V started by showing the main characters starting their day and where they are in life when all of a sudden little earthquakes start throughout New York City. After all the human characters are introduced there is a big earthquake and people start to notice that there is a spaceship over downtown. It later turns out that there are 29 spaceships over major cities throughout the world. Everyone was nervous and panicking after the arrival of the spaceships and the on the bottom of the ships a screen appears with the leader of the Visitors, Anna, addressing the people of Earth telling them why they have arrived on Earth. Anna told the people that all they wanted was to use a common mineral found on Earth and use it to fuel their ships so that they can leave and in until then they will share their advance technology and medicine with the world. There are many people who accept them with open arms, like Tyler Evans, but there are others who are secretly leading a resistance against the Visitors for many years, like Georgie.
There are 16 main characters on the show V. The human characters are Erica Evans, Father Jack , Chad Decker, Tyler Evans, Valerie , Brandon, Georgie, and Roy. Erica Evans is the mother of Tyler Evans and is a FBI agent who is skeptical about the Visitors which causes her to eventually join the secret resistance. Father Jack is a priest in New York who thinks that the Visitors wail cause more problems for humans than good by causing them to turn away from god and become devoted to the Visitors, he also joins the secret resistance along with Erica. Chad Decker is a news anchor who has been chosen by the visitors to be their voice in the human news world, he works closely with Anna and she seems to trust him more than other humans she has met with. Chad was also the first human to have an interview with a Visitor. Tyler Evans is a 17 year old boy who after going onto one of the Visitors motherships meets Lisa and decides that he is going to become one of their Peace Ambassadors, Tyler is one of the people who welcomes them completely. Brandon is one of Tyler's friend and is the reason that he gets onto the mothership in the first place. Roy is one of the people who goes to Father Jacks church and is one of the people who welcomes the Visitors because they used their advanced medicine to cure him of his disease that confined him to a wheelchair. Georgie is the last human main character on the show. Georgie is the leader of the mysterious secret resistance against the Visitors, he says that the Visitors have been on Earth for decades and just now revealed themselves, he turned out to be right by the end of the episode.
There are not many main characters who are Visitors, there are only three so far. The leader of the Visitors is Anna. Anna is the face of the Visitors, she is the one that is the face of the Visitors. Anna also comes to trust Chad Decker to be the only human that she will talk through, all of the important things that Anna has to say to the humans she wants to say it through Chad. Lisa is another character who is a Visitor. Lisa is the leader of the Peace Ambassador program in New York. Tyler seems to have a crush on Lisa and she uses it to make him join the ambassadors. The peace Ambassadors are people who spend a lot of time with the "V's" and then go back to the neighbourhoods and spread the message of the Visitors. Marcus is the last main character who is a Visitor. Marcus seems to be Anna's assistant or her secretary or something. Marcus did not have a big part in the first episode and might not be such a big deal in the show.
I thought that the new series V was great. I think that it is a good idea and is different from other shows on right now. I like the idea that the aliens look like normal people and seem to want to help humans. I think that the helping of the humans might not last that long because I don't think that there would be a need to have a resistance if the Visitors are going to help. I thought that is was strange that the Visitors kept saying "We are of peace, always.", i thought that they might be trying to convince the humans that they are peaceful so that they will not attack them and they can try to earn more trust from the humans for some reason.I look forward to seeing where the story goes and how the characters will react to the events of the last few minutes of the episode. I would rate the new series V 4.5 out of 5.
This is ABC's promotion for their new series V
This was the scene when Anna first addressed the people of Earth after the arrival of the V's.

Ten Thousand Years Will Give you Such a Crick in the Neck
The movie that had the greatest impact on me as a child was probably Aladdin. In my opinion it was the greatest movie ever. I still think of it as one of the best movies ever. It had everything like genies, flying carpets, adventure, and awesome music. I think that this movie had the greatest impact on me as a child because I watched it almost everyday. I could have told you every line in the movie and exactly what happens scene by scene, I could probably still give you a detailed description since I watched it so much. I think that Aladdin was one of the best Disney movies ever. One of the best parts of this movie was the songs in it, they were catchy and once they got stuck in your head they are in there for days. Prince Ali, Friend Like Me, A Whole New World, Arabian Nights, and One Jump are some of the best Disney songs ever in the movies. The Disney songs that are in the movies today are all really bad.
The message in Aladdin is that no matter how high your dreams are you can still reach them. I think that the message of Aladdin does not have the same effect on adults that it does on children. By the time an adult watches the movie they have already made most of their choices and have probably given up on their dream, if they have reached it yet. Children on the other hand still have time to make unthinkable goals and try to reach them and work towards them. Most kids probably don't understand the message behind the movie, I didn't, because they are not really looking for an underlying message. Now that I am older I can look back on the movie and see the message that it is trying to send to kids and I think that it would help some kids who do not have some of the opportunities that other kids have and might help them try to do better in life and find a way to get the opportunities that are presented to others. Overall I think that Aladdin is great impact on kids and adults, but more on kids. I think that watching Aladdin now would be very different for me than watching Aladdin when I was a little kid. The message of most kids shows/movies loses it's meaning as people get older and less impressionable.
This is one of the scenes from the movie where Aladdin meets Carpet, the flying carpet, in the Cave of Wonders.
One of the best parts of Aladdin was the songs by Genie, like Friend Like Me.

Don't be a statistic
Drinking and driving is talked about all of the time. Even though everyone talks about it, I think that it is still an important issue. I found this public service announcement on YouTube about drinking and driving and I thought that it was a very effective PSA. I watched the whole thing and did not realize that they were all say "was" until it was pointed out. I thought that this was effective because it gave the statistics on deaths related to drunk driving and it gave examples of victims. Another thing that was effective about this video was that the people talking were people that knew the victim, instead of a voice talking over the video. There are many people who are affected by drinking and driving, the people who are not at the scene are the people who are hit the hardest such as family and friends. I thought that the slogan for this campaign was great, "Don't be a statistic". I think that more people, especially teenagers, need to understand the true effects that drink and driving has on their families. This public service announcement is a good first step into learning that lesson.

TV Shows Wear Halloween Costumes Too
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilp16gDl2KYyLp2ZH_sHO20o4l1WWJpjSqSzaRuesfGVlaIj4E0G5sd0vmbcpXkj2Uza6p2N1LdcLCuqyVXrOawdlwIOnjlNRymiItiPFY8qoLB_GQyVm_uc9KEcYtFBnlv22RWseLo1Q/s400/Casper-Friendly-Ghost-1.jpg)
Last night the new show Eastwick had their Halloween episode. In the town of Eastwick, where everyone tells stories about witches and the magical history of the town, their Halloween tradition is to fill coffins with bad memories and on Halloween night burn them all in a huge bonfire. So because of a bad new story one of the main characters, Joanna, gets kidnapped by the pastor and he puts her into one of the coffins and she almost burns to death, until one of the other main characters, Kat, uses her power to make it rain and put out the fire. This was a good Halloween episode because it had costumes, it was funny and had witches with magical powers.
Surprisingly Supernatural has only ever had one Halloween based episode, but it was great anyways. It all started when a witch made a guy start coughing up razor blades until he died, then a teenage girl was burned to death when bobbing for apples. Once Sam and Dean got to town they realized that the whole purpose of these killings was to fulfil an ancient spell to cause the rising of Samhain. Samhain was what they thought the origin of Halloween, he was a demon who could control all of the monsters and ghouls that people use for Halloween. To hide from him people would wear masks, pumpkins had faces drawn on them to turn him away and candy was left out to please him. All of these traditions were passed down into Halloween now. When he did rise he started to create zombies, ghosts, spirits, and other creatures that like to kill people. This episode was good because it was all about Halloween and how it began. I liked this episode even though it was bloodier than other Halloween episodes.
The show Las Vegas, which is cancelled, only did two Halloween episodes on in the first season and one in the fifth season. In the first season "The Night the Lights of Vegas Went Out" was when someone in their casino, the Montecito, was shot moments after the power went out in Las Vegas. Three of the main characters, Delinda and Nessa and Sam, where all on the casino floor trying to keep everyone settled until security could get out of the surveillance room and come down to ID the killer. So while everyone was cut off from each other around the hotel the girls on the floor were trying to find out who was the insane killer. When the lights cam back on the discovered that it was a women who shot her husband. In the fifth season "When Life Gives You Lemon Bars" Delinda hired a new pastry chef for one of the restaurants in the Montecito who was pregnant. She later found out that this women was insane. She thought that her opinion was the only one that matter and everyone in the world was only there to eat her pastries. This women was not as insane as the one from season one. At the end of the episode everyone went to the Halloween party dressed in their costumes and had a good time with the rest of the staff. These episodes where good because Las Vegas was supposed to be a funny show and they were able to play with it for Halloween, the first season they decided to do a serious episode where Sam started to lose her mind and a goofy episode in the fifth season.
Other classic Halloween specials are on every Halloween too. One of the best Halloween specials is Look its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Other good Halloween specials are the Caster the Friendly Ghost movies and shows. Halloween is not complete unless you watch one of these classic Halloween specials.
Halloween episodes are good because they allow the people in the show to have a holiday where they can be different from their characters. For Eastwick it was a time for homicidal pastors, for Supernatural it was a time for a super demon to bring all types of evil to an unsuspecting town and for Las Vegas it was a time for murdering wives or hormonal pastry chefs. Halloween is a time of the year when you can act and dress differently than who you are and it is the same for television shows, they can be whatever they want to be.

Does Anyone Have Any Original Halloween Ideas?
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1nzMuTCwV3_yXscLsYXlAI4gRwYa7pwHd7I1phwQUT5cKrmNqPln3MAyqd8N6AI7I6HFaXM3-tGseS5prQ-98SNy6xFuSzDvZ8V1qA7WXATCIFCQHUEc53uBhvg1f8G1RAAYRihKIqmI/s320/Halloween.png)
The movie Halloween came out a year or two ago. This was like the 11th remake of the movie. The original Halloween had almost ten sequels, which just got worse and worse as they went on. The new one was not that bad it was better quality than the the sequels that came out (every Halloween) for years, but it was not as good as the original. The only thing that was better than the original was that they showed how he became a killer through his childhood instead of skipping fifteen years. In August Halloween 2 came out, which means they are probably going to make an insane amount of new Halloween movies. Overall I think that the Halloween series is better than some of the other horror movies that come out at the end of every October.
Another movie that they made way too many sequels for was Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th was about Jason, who just killed everyone instead of going after one person, like in Halloween. If Jason tried to kill you it would be better to kill yourself before he could get to you because they way he killed people was horrible. There was a remake of this movie last year that was really good. I thought that it was better than the original movie, mainly because of the effects and the people in the movie. I think that Friday the 13th will become a popular Halloween movie franchise again and we will see another sequel in the near future.
Sometimes they take characters from different horror movies and put them in the same movie, such as Freddy vs Jason. This was almost the worst movie ever. First of all it was a bad idea because neither one of them can die. It was a whole movie where they tried to kill each other and in the end they both survived. I do not ever know haw they met each other since Jason lives on some camp somewhere and Jason lives in peoples dreams but some how they got together and had a death match. The movie was really long too, it was not like a short 1-1.5 hour movie where they just kept attacking each other, there was actually a story and it was almost two hours.
Who ever thought to make Saw is probably insanely rich. For some reason the Saw series is huge. Last Friday Saw VI was released. I only watched Saw I and could not even see a reason to make a second one, all it is about is some jerk kidnapping people and killing them is horrible ways. Apparently in Saw V the killer was killed by someone, but now in Saw VI he is somehow alive again and killing people. At least people in Canada are starting to realize the insanity of the Saw series. On the opening weekend for Saw VI it only made 900 thousand dollars in Canada and was beaten by Law Abiding Citizen, Where the Wild Things Are, Couples Retreat, and Paranormal Activity. Unfortunately Saw VI was #2 in the box office for North America, making $13.78 million. I think that all six are stupid and they come out with new ones too fast.
Halloween movies are good on television. A Halloween movie that is on Family Channel every year is the Halloweentown series. There were four Halloweentown movies, they are about a family of witches who live on Earth but go travel to another dimension filled with all of the things we dress as for Halloween who live in peace away from humans in Halloweentown. Another Halloween movie from Family is Twiches. Twiches is about two teenage girls who find out that they have a twin and they are both witches and they go do magic stuff and save their real family who lives in another world from evil people. A classic Halloween movie that is on most channels around Halloween is Betelgeuse, it was just an excellent movie and everyone should watch it at some point.
Overall I think that most Halloween movies are too similar and you can imagine what it going to happen, so they are not that scary. Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Nightmare on Elm Street and Saw are only the beginning of the list of movies that are remakes or sequels or are just the same as any other horror movie. Some of the other would be The Grudge, The Ring, The Omen, Orphan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Amityville Horror, Twilight or Jeepers Creepers. Personally I would rather watch a TV show that is centered around horror themes, like Supernatural. Halloween movies are good but they need to come up with some new original ideas and make more money like they are doing with Paranormal Activity or like they did with The Blair Witch Project. There are too many Halloween movies that are all the same!

Review: Twilight
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIHnFNmUnkLoaY2qkVY6Zly8MMdBsdhDoHZ1dxrTMj74-vVSHcQq7r5H0mRb_efvi-VfIPSkcfYvIQHV61PFrR3qYOVyUwbBS2JZpcB0RDa9ep_CTKRB9TDM_xuob85MZrRvv6Hcb8eFc/s400/twilight_poster.jpg)
So the general story was that this girl,Bella, moves from Arizona to Washington to live with her father and she meets a boy who ends up being a vampire. You would expect that most people would not decided to start dating the vampire, but this girl decided did anyways. The vampire was named Edward and seemed like the creepiest person ever, when Bella came to her biology class she was told to sit next to Edward. Over the coarse of the hour and a half class Edward was turned around in his seat staring at her. For the first 30 minutes of the movie Edward is basically stalking Bella. I did not make the connection from how Bella and Edward went from hating each other to being hopelessly in love. Twenty minutes into the movie they did not like each other and were mean to one another, but thirty-five minutes in they were hopelessly in love and could not live without each other.
Almost everyone in the movie was ridiculously pale. Whoever did the make-up for this movie needs to go meet real people and see what they look like. Nobody is that pale. The only characters who would be were the vampires because they are dead. Bella moved from Arizona, its really sunny there why would she look like she was dead. Everyone is this town looked like they were dying. Another strange thing about the vampires was the reflected sunlight, since when do vampires reflect sunlight. All of the vampires in the movie would get all shiny when they went into direct sunlight. The way that Bella figured out that Edward and his family were vampires made everyone else in the town look really stupid. The vampires had lived in the town for years and no one figured it out, but Bella comes in and in a few weeks she Googles vampires and get all this information and outs it together like its nothing. Edward did not seem to be trying very hard to conceal that he was a vampire.
This movie had the worst special effects ever. Twilight had a huge budget and it looked like the spent none of it. How can television shows like Supernatural or Smallville have better special effects than a million dollar movie like Twilight. All of the vampires had super strength and super speed, but it looked like they were doing everything in normal speed. The super strength looked ridiculous the things they were lifting looked fake, they did not even try to make it look real. The super speed was the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a movie, it looked like they filmed things at normal speed and then used fast forward for the movie. And the final fight scene was just the worst scene ever filmed. Who ever did the effects needs to go back to film school.
The acting in Twilight was not very good either. Everyone was either really angry, really happy, or really depressed and there was no in between. The actors need to learn to show more emotion and to tone down the emotions that they were showing in the movie. The way that Bella and Edward interacted looked like Edward was about to kill her. Overall I thought that Twilight did not live up to the hype. The make-up was horrible, the special effects should result in someone being fired and the story was missing pieces. And all of the posters for the movie make it look like he is trying to date a little kid, and make him look like a stalker. This is just my opinion but I would not recommend this movie to anyone. 1.5 out of 5.

Dead People Should Stay Dead
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiSIXVDq4wyanAqPXBTqsURgRU_rnLF2h9e-smGb3PyzlMNvixTgItS01PK429PTWwmBZUEddE3-YfR9jtzRA1812okVLN4BWcCiVVRkLx2GN94QaSdGplgOT7FvDLA4JK86CaO4lfL2g/s400/Dead+guy+coming+back+to+life.jpg)
House is not a good friend. He is a mean person. He has been trying for the past six episodes to make Wilson so uncomfortable that he converts is study into an extra bedroom. Once House got into his new bedroom he started hearing voices, this concerned him because he thought that he was going insane again. He was afraid that he would have to go back to the hospital if the voices did not stop. When he went to tell Wilson about the voices during the night he quietly went into Wilson's bedroom and heard him whispering to his dead girlfriend, Amber. The next morning he told Wilson that he was going to readmit himself into the hospital because he wanted Wilson to admit that he was talking to himself. When Wilson did not admit anything House told Wilson that he knows what he is talking about and Wilson replies that House is a jerk because he feels the need to make fun of him because he talks to his dead girlfriend. Wilson told House after that than it makes him feel better and that he misses her. House should have felt bad about this because the reason that Amber died was because House made her ride the bus home with him and the bus got into a car crash that resulted in her dying a few hours later. By the end of the episode House was trying to figure out if talking to dead loved ones really made you feel better and started to talk to his dead father. He found out that talking to his father made him feel better.
This episode of House was insane because their patient came back to life. I thought that it was ridiculous that they had a dead person come back to life because it is impossible. They never really said how it happened they just seemed to get over it right away. The episode was not that good because their case became stupid as soon as the guy came back to life, it was good when he came in saying that he was going to die when he turn forty in a few days. The other main part of the episode was stupid too. House should not make fun of Wilson if talking to himself makes him fell better. Overall I think that this episode of House was a 2 out of 5.

The Past Always Comes Back To Haunt You
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEha1u2G4qIxEs01yzlqB5TFMb3OXmlUGvuip1f1T8JzMjzAyj3k2E_4UHk3RgORBtkEwRs6eWsoIPZAmjmVFol6_lQSvNGxeENlmDV8yEDnACD2571OXOtYlDAZchS4DfRFCcoMm1FL3p4/s400/requiem8.jpg)
Toyman was released from prison and went straight to Metropolis to try to make Oliver come out of hiding. Oliver was in hiding because he was trying to run away from the fact that his actions directly led to Jimmy Olsen's death. Toyman started to blow up many of the Queen Industries plants but none of it was getting Oliver;s attention. Eventually Tess Mercer went to find Oliver and found him in a bar fight somewhere in Mexico. She convinced him that he needs to come back to Metropolis to speak to his shareholders. When Oliver stepped up on stage to address everyone he was informed from Toyman by an eyepiece that he was standing on a pressure plate attached to a bomb and if he did not do whatever Toymen said then everyone in the building would die. Clark found out about the bomb after Oliver started to give an unusual speech and he used his x-ray vision on the stage and saw the bomb. Clark informed Chloe of the bomb and she used the security system in the Ace of Clubs to evacuate the building. After everyone had left Clark saw that Toyman was there and he went over to talk to him. Clark realized that if Oliver stepped off of the pressure plate than Toyman would be killed as well and than Toyman would still lose so the man that he was holding could not have been Toyman, it was a robot. Once everyone had left Oliver stepped off of the plate to try to kill himself so that he would not have to deal with himself anymore. Clark went over to Oliver after the party and told him that he was sorry for not being their for him when he really needed it.
This episode was really good. The only thing that was not so good about this episode was that there was too much going on. The main story with Toyman, Clark got a new temporary new power to read peoples minds, and Lois was trying to get Clark to go on a date with her. I thought that all of the story lines in this episode could have been their own episode and that it was too much all at once. I thought that it was cool that Clark was able to read peoples mind but thought that since it was rushed the progression of the power was too quick, in other episodes when he get a new power it takes a while for it to be under control but in this episode he was able to read peoples mind right away. I thought that it was really stupid that Tess went to Toyman after he was arrested and gave him the kryptonite heart from Metallo. This episode overall was really good and i think that it would get a rating of 3 out of 5.

Tying Up Loose Ends
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7cBc3FZxkCKVfO1qcTiFg7S-nyZuXM5ASq9M-OhkVc00qWEiIxEgPDo7TwFSjy9ZBns-ARUffa2dc-b90a79drSoy_LW7VExrg-zAethmo5E8BB-F9VlagTUHD5mdYsCC4PiozKsnabk/s400/1299129.jpg)
This episode started with the dying kid coming in with his father demanding that Dr. Gregory House treat his son. The only problem that Dr. Cuddy had with his request was the House has not received his medical license back yet after being admitted in a psychiatric hospital. So Cuddy decided to keep Foreman in charge of the department but House was to make all of the decisions and important choices. Foreman did not like this idea because if House messed up and the kid died than Foreman would have to take all the blame for it. Cuddy also told Foreman that he was to prepare a presentation of the board on the Dibala case. Chase tried to help Foreman make up a reasonable story to tell at the presentation because he did not want Foreman to tell everyone that he had killed Dibala. Throughout the entire episode Chase was giving Foreman new ideas and every time Foreman threw them back at him. Meanwhile House went and found Thirteen planning a trip to Thailand and offered Thirteen her old job, when she declined he hacked into her e-mail and cancelled her trip. Thirteen went to Cuddy, House and to Wilson trying to figure out what happened and none of them said anything. Wilson finally admitted to it and then went to House wanting the real story, House's reasoning was that she was an asset to the team, he chose her for a reason and he thought that Foreman was making a foolish and selfish mistake. The father of the dying kid thought that his son would get better if he gave all of his money away because of karma. After he gave his money away they decided that the son has a terminal illness and has only a few hours to live. After looking at some test results later in the day they realized that he did not have this disease and they started to treat him for a different illness and he was cured. Near the end of the episode Chase found an envelope on the table addressed to him and it was test results from a previous doctor that Dibala had seen and it shown that he had high cholesterol and that it could have caused what killed him. When Chase shown this to Foreman they both realized that sine neither of them had ordered it someone else in the hospital knows that Chase secretly killed a patient and Foreman did not turn him in.
I liked this episode because it tried to tie up all of the loose ends from the previous episodes in the rest of the season. I thought that House was right in thinking that the current power structure in the department is awesome because it would be great to be in charge of something but someone else take all of the responsibilities of being in charge. I think that House had different reasons for not wanting Thirteen to go away and that he just does not want of tell anybody. I still think that Chase should have to answer for what he did to Dibala and that he should not get away with murder. Since he has no consequences it shows that if you are a doctor you can get away with murder if you are just careful in what lies you tell. I thought that it was good the neither Foreman or Chase figured out who ordered the package with the test results because it makes them both worry about who in the hospital can end their careers whenever they want to. I liked the title of this episode because it related to the billionaire giving all of his money away so that something good would happen to his son and after a few hours his son had made a full recovery after being sick for months. I thought that this episode was very good and would be rated 3.5 out of 5.

Ever Wondered What Toys Do When Nobody is Around?
The toys are back in town and their in Disney Digital 3D. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were re-released as a double feature in 3D on October 2nd. I went and saw the movie over the Thanksgiving weekend because I think that Toy Story is one of the best Disney movies ever. I thought that it was still very good and was better in 3D. The movie was about 3 hours, which is not really that long considering that you are seeing two movies in the time that it takes to watch some other ones like Lord of the Rings. I think Woody and Buzz Lightyear are two of the greatest characters ever. I liked this movie because all of the different toys have different personalities and some of them do not match with what kind of toy they are. The main idea with the Toy Story movies is what do toys do when there are no people around, according to Toy Story they are alive and live their lives until their owner comes back and they pretend they are just plastic again. I thought that the movies were both great and I enjoyed watching them again.
In Toy Story it starts on Andy's birthday and all of his toys sit in his room eagerly awaiting to hear what he is getting for presents hoping that none of them are replaced. Once Andy get a new Buzz Lightyear action figure he starts to replace Woody as Andy's favorite toy. Buzz thinks that he is the real Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and does not realize that he is a toy. Woody starts to get jealous of how much Andy and all of the other toys like Buzz and he accidentally pushes Buzz out of the window. When Woody goes out to find him they both get left at a gas station. They finally made it to the Pizza Planet restaurant to find Andy but Buzz goes into a claw game because he thinks that it is a real space ship that will take him to Star Command. Woody goes in to get him and they both end up with the evil kid you lives next door to Andy, Sid. While in Sid's house Buzz saw a commercial for Buzz Lightyear action figures and he realizes that he is not a Space Ranger, but just a child's plaything. Sid's idea of playing with toys is either blowing them up are putting the pieces of one toy onto another. Sid gets a rocket that will blow Buzz up. Woody stages a rescue mission with all of Sid's toys to save Buzz and to get them back to Andy's house before he moves away the next morning. Woody saves Buzz and they almost get to the moving truck, but when Woody gets their first and tries to use RC, a remote control car, to go get Buzz Piggy, Rex and Mr. Potatohead throw Woody out of the truck because they think that he is trying to kill RC and Buzz. Buzz and Woody use RC and the rocket to shoot themselves down the street towards the truck and instead fly into the van so that Andy would see that he did not leave them behind. Toy Story definitely gets a 4.5 out of 5.
In Toy Story 2 Woody is stolen and Buzz sets out to find Woody with the help of Piggy, Rex, Mr. Potatohead, and Slinky. Woody was stolen by a toy collector who wants to sell the Woody Roundup gang to a museum in Japan. Woody meets three new toys at the collectors apartment. The new toys are all of the set that Woody belongs to their names are Jessie, Bullseye and Stinky Pete the Prospector. They all want to go to Japan because their owners had given them up and they did not think that they could love another kid the same, except the Prospector because he wanted to go because he had never been loved by a child. When the toys get to the toy store that they think Woody is in the find a newer version of Buzz Lightyear. This Buzz also thinks that he is a Space Ranger and is the real Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, he never figures it out. Eventually they find Woody and they go to the collectors apartment to save him but Woody has decided that he does not want to go because at the museum he will be loved by children forever. The rest of Andy's toys get back to the elevator and are stopped by the nemesis so Buzz Lightyear, the evil Emperor Zurg. Zurg and the new Buzz get into a death match and it is revealed the the new Buzz is the son of Zurg, exactly the same as the scene from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back in Cloud City when Darth Vader tells Luke Skywalker "Luke, I am your father." Once Woody comes to his senses and convinces Jessie and Bullseye to go with him back to Andy's House the other toys use a Pizza Planet delivery truck to get to the airport to rescue Woody. Buzz and the other toys fight with the Prospector until Woody and Bullseye are free, but Jessie is loaded onto the plane. Woody goes with Buzz to rescue Jessie from the plane and just before it takes off Woody and Jessie jump off the plane to Buzz and Bullseye. Toy Story 2 I think should get a 4 out of 5.
The Toy Story and Toy Story 2 Double Feature I thought was a good idea to release because on June 18, 2010 Toy Story 3 comes out and all of the little kids would never have seen the first two. The trailer for Toy Story 3 was also shown during this movie. Toy Story 3 will take place over the summer before Andy moves away to go to collage and Woody and Buzz have to figure out what they are going to do without him after all of the toys are given away to a PRESCHOOL! Obviously none of the toys want to go to a preschool because they get destroyed rather quickly and the have to figure out how to survive and breakout. One of the Best Disney movies is Toy Story and Toy Story 2 is right up there as well. Both movies were re-done in Disney Digital 3D so that the whole thing had depth so it was more realistic instead of the background being out of focus the fore ground was just closer to the audience than the back ground. With the 3D it the animation did not look 2D, it had depth and everything was more solid and you could tell the order of the layers of the animation. The Toy Story movies were some of my favorite movies when I was a little kid and they are still one of my favorite movies now. The Toy Story and Toy Story 2 Double Feature I think would get a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Zombies in Metropolis

The episode started with Clark finding Oliver being chased by the police because he was speeding. Clark told Oliver that both of them had to take responsibility for what happened to Jimmy and start to move on. When Clark got to the Daily Planet he heard from Lois that Tess had be admitted to Metropolis General Hospital with some strange virus. Tess got sick from men who attacked her at the Luthor Mansion after being infected by the Kryptonian virus. When Lois and Clark got to the hospital it was too late for them to save Tess because she had already become a zombie. After Tess attacked Lois and Clark Lois returned to the Daily Planet to write her story about the disease. While she was there dozens of reporters who had already been infected attacked Lois and infected her. At Watchtower Chloe was tracking the progression of the virus with Dr. Hamilton and they discovered that the virus was airborne and that transformation occurred when the victim fell asleep. Clark arrived at the Daily Planet of help Lois and they kept each other awake when they were hiding in Tess's office. Oliver came to the Daily Planet to break them out, but instead stayed with Lois in the elevator until Clark came back with help. Clark went to Chloe at Watchtower and they took his blood because it contain a Kryptonian enzyme that cured people of the virus. Lois fell asleep and escaped from the elevator as a zombie. Clark went to the Daily Planet and was attacked by Lois, but Clark would not fight back because he did not want to hurt her. Chloe and Dr. Hamilton flew over Metropolis and released the cure into the clouds so that it would rain the cure onto Metropolis. With everyone cured everyone infected forgot what had happened. Clark went to talk to Oliver about how he failed at his only job to protect Lois from falling asleep. Oliver told Clark that he was right and he has discovered what the destiny of the Green Arrow, Oliver's secret hero identity, is. Once Clark had left Oliver got all of his Green Arrow gear and burned all of it. The Kryptonian who released the virus did it because he knew that their was a Kryptonian in Metropolis with all of his powers and he was trying to reveal him because he knew that he would be immune.
I thought that this was the worst episode of Smallville ever. The stupidest thing in this episode was that people were becoming zombies because it reminded by of the movie "The Invasion" and was too much like a zombie apocalypse scenario. Oliver came into Tess's office to talk to her when he found Lois and Clark, but no one seemed to comment on the fact that her was carrying a load shotgun. Clark revealed his powers to Dr. Hamilton in this episode after knowing him from almost a year. I think that Clark is getting to open about his powers it took him almost 7 years to tell Chloe his powers, but he told Dr. Hamilton after a few months. I thought that Oliver was be a coward when he was burning his Green Arrow gear because it showed that he was giving up because he could not face his problems and it was easier to run away. I did not like this episode because almost every part was really stupid. I would give this episode a rating of 1 out of 5

Look Before You Leap

Friday night the second episode of season two of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was on. This episode started with Anakin and Ahsoka setting out with their fleet to find the bounty hunter Cad Bane. Cad Bane had just left the Devron planetary system where the Jedi Master Bolla Ropal, the keeper of the Kyber crystal, had been in exile. Bane was sent to kidnap Master Ropal so that Bane get the Kyber crystal into the holocron that he stole from the Jedi Temple. A holocron can only be opened by a Jedi so Bane needed Master Ropal alive. During the interrogation of Master Ropal the battle droids accidentally killed him. Bane decided that he would use the three Separatist cruisers at his disposal to lure the two Jedi off of their cruiser and onto his.
Anakin and Ahsoka took Rex and his squad of clone troopers onto the Separatists cruiser and took over the entire ship. Their mission was to safely recover Master Ropal and to recover the Kyber crystal and the stolen holocron. Bane had all of the ships controls sent to his wrist controls so that he could trap the Jedi. During a battle in the cargo hold Bane took advantage of Ahsoka's recklessness and separated her from Anakin. Bane took Ahsoka prisoner so that he could convince Anakin to open the holocron for him. once Anakin found Bane and Ahsoka he was informed that if he did not open the holocron right then Ahsoka would be sent through and airlock and die from being in space. Anakin opened the holocron for Bane to save Ahsoka's life and Bane opened the airlock anyways and Anakin saved Aksoka instead of stopping Bane from escaping. Bane escaped and killed a clone trooper and took his armor so that he could escape from the Separatist ship without the Jedi knowing. The Jedi and clone all left the Separatist ship thinking that Bane and the holocron were destroyed on the ship, but Bane was now on the Republic cruiser with the holocron and the Kyber crystal disguised as a clone trooper.
I thought that this episode was good because it showed how Anakin's teachings have made Ahsoka more reckless. Since Ahsoka did not listen to orders Bane got away and took the holocron with him. Ahsoka was over confident and because of it she was careless. Admiral Yularen was the Admiral who was second in command under Anakin and was against the plan of going onto the Separatist ship. When Anakin got back Yularen asked how the mission went and Anakin informed him that Master Ropal was dead, the kyber crsytal and the holocron were destroyed, and that Cad Bane was dead. Yularen asked Anakin "So the mission was your usual form of success?" and Anakin replied "If you mean that I won, then yes.". This episode was about patience and that sometimes you must look before you leap, it was shown through Ahsoka's carelessness. I thought that this episode was really good and would be rated 3 out of 5.
